As it warms, the Medog County, Nyingchi City, Tibet has entered the spring tea picking season. The tea farmers carry their tea baskets on backs and shuttle through the tea garden. As their hands are flying in the green waves, the buds were picked away from the trees and put into their baskets. 

Since 2012, Medog has built 103 alpine organic tea gardens with a total area of 19,200 mu (12.8 square kilometers). The tea industry has become a pillar industry of the local economy.
