On May 28th, the Chinese version of "A Brief History of Tibetan Medicine in Aba Prefecture", jointly translated and compiled by Aba Tibetan Translation Bureau and Aba Tibetan Hospital (Aba Tibetan Medicine Research Institute), and approved by Sichuan People's Publishing House, was officially published and distributed.

The Chinese version of "A Brief History of Tibetan Medicine in Aba Prefecture" was compiled based on the content of the original Tibetan version, and the overall editing and polishing work took four years. The entire book systematically outlines the historical development of Tibetan medicine in Aba Prefecture, detailing the core content of the local Tibetan medicine theory system, medicinal resources, diagnosis and treatment techniques, inheritance of famous doctors throughout history, and classic prescriptions. It objectively records the complete process of local Tibetan medicine from ancient germination, exchange and integration, gradual maturity to innovative development, and preserves valuable historical materials for the inheritance and development of Tibetan medicine in Aba Prefecture.

The relevant person in charge of the Aba Tibetan Translation Bureau stated that they will take this as a new starting point, continue to play the role of a bridge and link between Tibetan to Chinese and Chinese to Tibetan translations, launch more high-quality translation achievements, and contribute to the inheritance and promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture and the strengthening of the sense of community of the Chinese nation.
