On June 13th, the series of activities for the Cultural and Natural Heritage Day and Intangible Cultural Heritage Promotion Month of Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture kicked off in Jiuzhi County. The event uses immersive experiences as a carrier to showcase the achievements of the construction of the national Gesar Culture (Guoluo) Ecological Reserve, allowing the intangible cultural heritage of the plateau to shine in the new era.

As the core area with the richest Gesar cultural resources and the most complete inheritance system in China, Guoluo Prefecture deeply cultivates the fertile soil of local culture, continuously promotes the systematic protection, standardized construction, and innovative development of intangible cultural heritage. As of the end of December 2025, the Guoluo Ecological Reserve has included 651 representative intangible cultural heritage projects in ten categories, with 805 registered inheritors at all levels. The protection and inheritance system of intangible cultural heritage is becoming increasingly mature.
