Rare great hornbill family spotted in SW China's Yunnan
(ECNS) -- Video captured three members of a rare great hornbill family in Yingjiang County, southwest China's Yunnan Province.
Yingjiang County is a major habitat of hornbills in China, a state-protected wild animal species with bright feathers and huge wingspan. When great hornbills fly, the powerful strokes produce a rhythmic thrumming.
The footage is of extremely high value in China, as great hornbill is very rare, only distributed in some parts of Yunnan and Tibet in China.
