Recently, Saqiong Village and Taxin Village, Ritang Town, Lhuntse  County, Shannan City, Xizang Autonomous Region welcomed the annual ongkor Festival. Villagers dressed in formal attire, holding barley in their hands and carrying Buddhist pagodas symbolizing a bountiful harvest, held a ceremony of turning fields and praying for blessings. At the same time, horse racing and exhibitions of agricultural and animal husbandry products were held, creating a strong festive atmosphere.
