Recently, in the greening project areas of Nanshan and Beishan Mountain in Lhasa, staff carried out forest and grassland fire prevention inspections, cleared combustibles under the forest, opened fire escape routes, and repaired water and electricity irrigation facilities, preparing for the first winter irrigation operation of this year.

The Lhasa Nanshan and Beishan Mountain Greening ( Lhoka Section(Xinhua | Jigme Dorje)) Project were launched in 2022, and by 2026, a total of 317500 acres of afforestation will be completed.
