The reporter learned from China Mobile Tibet Company that the first phase of China Mobile Tibet Company's big data center is running in an orderly manner.

The big data center has a total investment of 739 million yuan(105 million US dollars). It is designed and constructed in accordance with the highest national A-level standard. It is divided into two phases of construction. At present, more than 570 racks have been submitted for customers’ using in the first phase. After completion, it can accommodate 6,600 racks. The total number of racks in the center will exceed 7,000.

Li Jiangbo, the relevant person in charge of the Planning and Construction Department of China Mobile Tibet Company, said: “After the completion of the data center, it will also provide enterprise cloud services for small and medium-sized enterprises, change the traditional operation mode of enterprises, and help enterprises transform from low-cost strategy to innovation-driven modes, saving production costs and enhancing the core competitiveness."
