Exhibition on development achievements in Qinghai ethnic autonomous regions opens
The grand opening of “Beautiful Qinghai: Development Achievements in Qinghai Ethnic Autonomous Regions since the Founding of New China” was held on the morning of November 1 at the National Culture Palace in Beijing.
Bate’er, a vice-chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, vice minister of the United Front Work Department of CPC, and Party secretary and director of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission, visited the exhibition with distinguished guests. Bate’er offered high affirmation on Qinghai’s rich history and diverse culture, as well as the historical achievements made by people of all ethnic groups in Qinghai under the leadership of the Communist Party of China showed in the exhibition.
The exhibition is a part of the “Beautiful China, Harmonious Homeland: Exhibition on the Economy, Society, and Culture of China’s Ethnic Minority Regions” series hosted by the National Ethnic Affairs Commission.
Guo Weiping, deputy director of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission delivered a speech at the event and pointed that by using photos, texts, and videos, the exhibition series vividly display the great historical changes that have happened in ethnic minority regions. It demonstrates the success of the Party’s ethnic policies.
Gongbao Tashi, Minister of the United Front Work Department said in his speech that over the past 70 years, under the strong leadership and care of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, Qinghai has achieved unprecedented achievements in all aspects . He said that all party levels in the region must unite more closely around the Party Central Committee with Xi Jinping as the core to built an even better Qinghai in the New Era and to realize the Qinghai chapter for the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
