According to reports, Nyima Choetzom is a native of Tashi village. She did not attend school due to her family’s poverty, but she did not bow her head to life but start a business in her hometown. With the help of the local government, in July 2019, she established the Qiongjieping Ruoshui Mill Tsampa Co., Ltd. Its main business is to produce stone-milled black tsampa, white tsampa, and black bean flour. She recruited eight locals who were from former registered impoverished households in Tashi Village, each with an average salary of 3,000 yuan, helping Tashi Village to overcome poverty.
