HUZHU, China, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Davide Baldaccini of Corratec Selle Italia won the third stage of the Tour of Qinghai Lake in 5 hours 17 minutes and 56 seconds on Tuesday.

The third stage, spanning 201 kilometers, started at Guide and finished at Huzhu containing two intermediate sprints and four climbs.

Eric Fagundez from Spanish Burgos-BH and Andre Drege of Norway's Team Coop-Repsol came second and third respectively in this stage.

Wilmar Andres Paredes Zapata from Colombia's Medellin finished the stage in 5:18:04, and with a great climbing performance in stage 2, he became the overall leader and put on the yellow jersey.

Lyu Xianjing of the China Glory Continental Cycling Team kept the Best Asian Rider blue jersey. Henok Mulueberhan from Italian Green Project-Bardiani CSF-Faizane put on the green jersey, while the polka-dot jersey for the best climber was awarded to his teammate Alessio Nieri.

The fourth stage will start at Huzhu and end at Menyuan on Wednesday.
