Tibet's Sangri: Small grapes string up big dream of rural revitalization
In grape harvest season, it is also the time to make wine.
Sangri County, Lhoka City, Tibet Autonomous Region, with an average altitude of 3,600 meters, has made great efforts to develop pollution-free, green and high-quality organic grape cultivation in recent years. The County’s grape base has expanded from 15 mu in 2011 to 10,000 mu now.
The grape base adopts the model of "company + base + farmer", which has strongly promoted the development of the wine industry. In 2021 alone, 509 local farmers and herdsmen have increased their income by 2.917 million yuan.
