Back hill of Tashilhunpo Monastery
Walk along the circumanbulation outside the walls of Tashilhunpo Monastery and you will come to the back hill. Along the way, rows of prayer wheels shining in the sun, roadside mani stone quietly guarding the good wishes of people's hearts, prayers and visitors can be seen everywhere.
Keep on walking, the whole urban area of Shigatse gradually come into view. Under the warm sunshine, Tashilhunpo Monastery and the city are nestled under the snow mountains and blue sky, together interpreting the endless growth of this ancient land.
