Holy Namtso Lake

"Namtso" in Tibetan or "Tengger Sea" in Mongolian means "heavenly lake". Located in the middle of Tibet Autonomous Region, Namtso Lake is one of Tibet’s "Three Holiest Lakes". The lake is 4,718 meters high and is the world’s largest saltwater lake.

Along the banks of the lake are piles of mani stones.
