Main part of roadbed construction of Lhasa to Nyingchi section of Sichuan-Tibet Railway completed
The main roadbed construction of the 402-kilometer-long Lhasa to Nyingchi section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway was recently completed.
The Lhasa to Nyingchi section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway is an important part of the planed Sichuan-Tibet Railway and Yunnan-Tibet Railway lines. It is also a main channel for passenger and freight transport between Tibet and Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, central China, and eastern China.
