Recently, a ceremony was held in Chacuo Village, Mami Township, Gertse County, Ngari Prefecture to move into a new home that is livable, suitable for business, and beautiful. This new home construction is a modernization pilot project for rural housing and village construction at the regional level. The total investment is 150 million yuan, which is composed of regional financial support, county-level financial support, rural revitalization funds, China Mobile's assistance to Xizang, and self raised funds by the masses. The project has built a total of 142 rural houses, including 5 types of layouts: 75 square meters, 85 square meters, 95 square meters, 110 square meters, and 120 square meters. It also includes supporting infrastructure such as outdoor water supply and drainage, electrical supply, road hardening, well houses, and public toilets.
