Shigatse's Gojag new village in full bloom
The small Tibetan buildings are scattered, the flowers are blooming in front of the houses, and the streets are spacious and tidy. Gojag new village is a relatively large-scale resettlement site for poverty alleviation in different places in Shigatse. Most of the villagers used to live in an environment with a high altitude of 4,500 meters, and now they have moved to the village with a lower altitude and more convenient living conditions.
How about the experience of the new residence? Grandma Nyima, who was sitting under the tree in front of her house, stuck the thread and said happily, "Since I moved here, the living environment of the house is so good, it is convenient to go anywhere, and the children have found jobs at their doorstep, and life is so much better than before."
After moving over, each house is equipped with corresponding living furniture, including TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, etc., for free. In order to solve the employment problem of villagers, 8 industrial projects were built, covering photovoltaic power generation, cattle and sheep breeding, and nursery planting.
