Lhasa boasts 167 intangible cultural heritage projects above county level

According to official news of Lhasa Municipal Government in Tibet on March 30, since Lhasa started its intangible cultural protection efforts in 2005, it has gradually formed a national and district/city/county four-level intangible cultural heritage project directory system.

Up to now, the city has 167 representative projects of intangible heritage at or above county level and 221 intangible inheritors at or above county level. The intangible cultural heritage projects cover 10 categories of traditional skills, dance, music, drama, fine arts, folklore, sports, and medicine.
