Wolfberry helps people get a better life
Since 2017, Bainang County, Shigatse city has introduced agricultural science and technology companies to develop the planting industry of Chinese wolfberry, and made efforts to build 10,000 mu of Chinese wolfberry ecological tourism industrial park.
Since its implementation, the Park has helped increase income of farmers and herdsmen by means of land transfer, employment, machinery leasing, planting technology training and industrial dividends.
By the end of September, the park has employed 130,000 farmers and herdsmen and realized 1.93 million yuan of dividends for a total of 1,592 impoverished people.
Workers in the park are taking care of the wolfberry forest.
