6.6-magnitude quake hits Tibet: CENC

BEIJING - A 6.6-magnitude earthquake jolted Nyima County of Nagqu City, Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, at 4:07 am Thursday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 33.19 degrees north latitude and 86.81 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 10 km, the center said.
