Recently, nearly 70 herders in Charma Township, Hongyuan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province signed a yak milk purchase agreement with Sichuan Hongyuan Jule Yak Dairy Co., Ltd.In 2022, Hongyuan County was designated as one of the first pilot counties for the transformation and upgrading of grassland animal husbandry in China, with a pilot period of 4 years.In the past four years, the county has invested a total of 608 million yuan and implemented 42 key projects. Currently, a complete industrial chain from grass to livestock and then to products has been basically formed. The annual output value of animal husbandry exceeds 1.5 billion yuan, and a new path for high-quality development of modern grassland animal husbandry in high-altitude pastoral areas has been explored.
