Shehuo is a traditional festive celebration popular in rural communities of Northern China during the Spring Festival. It encompasses various performances such as dragon and lion dances, stilt walking, and yangge dances. Originating from ancient worship of the gods of earth and fire, it has evolved over centuries into a mass cultural and entertainment event.
