November 24, the 2025 "Lancang-Mekong Journey" interview and exchange activity with the theme of "Nourished By The Same River and Renewing the friendship of Lancang-Mekong Countries " was officially launched in Xining.

This year is the tenth year of establishing the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Mechanism. In order to demonstrate the ecological responsibility at the source of the rivers，and telling the world about the real situation of ecological protection, green development, and ethnic customs, from November 25th to 30th, the interview and exchange team will interviewing cooperation projects between China and Thailand, China and Laos in the fields of trade and investment, new energy，and by visiting cultural heritage, educational institutions, and civil organizations in these regions, and examining ecological conservation projects , to showcasing the diversity and beauty of cultural integration in the regions. Through the personal experiences and feelings of ordinary people, to demonstrating the positive impact of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation.

The Lancang-Mekong River is the ninth longest river in the world, and the fifth longest river in Asia, and also the longest river in Southeast Asia. It originates from Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China, flows through Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, and finally, it flows into the South China Sea in the Mekong Delta.It is known as the "Eastern Danube" and the "Golden Waterway" connecting six countries with one river. This event has been successfully held four times since 2020. Listed in the "China Cyberspace Yearbook 2022", it has become a branded external promotion activity for Qinghai Province. This event is organized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Qinghai Provincial Committee, and undertaken by the Qinghai Provincial Government News Office and the Qinghai Branch of China News Service, with participated some media such as Qinghai Daily and Qinghai Radio and Television Station, etc.
