In the Xizang Autonomous Region, there are four New Years in a year. According to the time sequence, they are respectively the New Year of Gongbo dominated by Nyingtri, the Purang New Year in Nari,, the Agricultural New Year in Shigatse, and the Tibetan New Year dominated by Lhasa.
