Thirty one years ago, with the death of folk artist Blodan, the Rema qin was on the brink of extinction.Until 2019, the Ethnic Art Troupe of Nyingchi City rediscovered the Rema qin during field investigations in rural areas.

Rema qin is an ancient sound on the land of Kongpo, like the melody hidden deep in a valley, the clear sound of the qin almost disappears from the world.

The ethnic art troupe in Nyingchi City has created a series of new works by combining traditional instruments with modern music forms through collection, organization, and creation.
