Walking in the Himalayas: The New Daman Village Surrounded by Snow-Capped Mountains

Located in Jilong Town, Jilong County, Xigaze,Xizang Autonomous Region, approximately 30 kilometers from the China-Nepal border, the New Daman Village is the only settlement of the Daman people in China. In recent years, the residential buildings in the village have undergone reconstruction and renovation, significantly improving their structural quality and living conditions. Meanwhile, the village has actively developed its homestay tourism industry. It is estimated that once operational, the per capita annual income of the Daman people will increase by over 2,000 yuan.

Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, life in the New Daman Village is getting better and better.
