Bangong Lake, a famous scenic spot in Ngari region, is located in Rutok  County, Ali region, Xizang Autonomous Region, and its elevation of surface 4242 meters. Due to the increasing salt content of the lake water from east to west, the lake water has wonderful color changes, like a "sapphire" embedded in the plateau.
