On September 16, when reporters entered the Longbaotan International Important Wetland in Qinghai, the sky was overcast, the water in the wetland was clear, a pair of black-necked cranes were carefully raising their chicks, and ruddy shelducks were swimming and foraging in the water, making it truly a paradise for birds. The Longbaotan International Important Wetland located in Longbao Town, Yushu City, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Its scope is the same as that of the Longbao National Nature Reserve, with a total area of 9,529 hectares, of which the wetland area is 3,349 hectares. It is rich in biodiversity, a beautiful home for black-necked cranes, and one of the important windows for showcasing China's wetland conservation work. (Qinghai Daily | Zhang Duojun, Pan Hao)
