In early winter, the sound of processing wood could be heard in Marktang Town, Jianzha County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Following the sound, 56 years old carpenter Caihua Duojie is focused on sawing and carving wood. This year marks his 41st year in the carpentry industry. From an apprentice to a master craftsman who has mastered various core skills in woodworking, he not only relies on this craft to achieve wealth, but also leads hundreds of apprentices on the path of professional carpenters.

Starting from the age of 16, Caihua Duojie devoted himself to learning carpentry under the guidance of carpenters. He was able to quickly master the techniques from simple sawing to various complex pattern carving. And rely on their own skills to earn income.

At present, there are 486 carpenters in Jianzha County, with an average annual income of over 60000 yuan per person.
