Meiba’er Village, Nagqu: A Series of Competitions Revitalized Rural Development
A series of competitions were organized in Meiba’er Village, Zangbi Township, Lhari County, Nagqu, the Xizang Autonomous Region. These included calligraphy, emergency broadcasting, dairy product processing, culinary skills demonstrations, manual Tsampa grinding, traditional buttered tea making, weaving techniques, leather crafting, sewing exhibitions, and photography and short video contests showcasing the most beautiful hometowns. Additionally, a Mimang (chess) competition was held. The events attracted over 130 participants.
On the competition site, dressed in festival finery, participants enthusiastically and skillfully showcased the allure of nomadic culture from northern Xizang. The competitions were intense, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the events.
At its conclusion, honor certificates and monetary awards were presented to the winners of the various competitions.
