Youth Art Season on Plateau Sand Dunes Lights up Shannan
On September 15, the 1st Youth Art Season on Plateau Sand Dunes, a characteristic cultural feast, was launched in Shannan, Xizang Autonomous Region.
As the birthplace of Tibetan culture, Shannan has become the best stage for this art season with its unique natural landscape and profound cultural accumulation. The Sand Dune Art Park in Chanang County combined the sand dune landscape with the Tibetan culture, and created a comprehensive art season integrating art exhibition, fashion show, creative bazaar, and live music.
In the fashion show, representative costumes from different counties and districts in Shannan, including “Zhazha Costume” from Comai County, “Yamzhog Costume” from Nanggarze County, “Lhoba Costume” from Lhongzi County, and “Moinba Costume” from Cona County, appeared on the stage, preserving ethnic customs while adding young and fashionable elements. During the song and dance show, intangible cultural heritage dance and modern music mingled to form a captivating scene.
