Badro Village is located in the deep forests in Tacheng Town, Weixi County, Dechen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. The dense woods bring endless vitality and vigor to this land like a natural oxygen bar.

Through the efforts of several generations of Badro Village, the forest coverage rate there has increased from 92% in 1995 to 98.2% at present. In 2003, Badro Village established the Women’s Mountain Patrol Team, comprising members from its 21 villager groups, to safeguard the gifted ecosystem, promote green economy development, and preserve valuable wealth for future generations.

With the team’s protection, the green mountains and clear waters in Badro Village have become more beautiful and pleasant, offering the great fortune of sustainable future for later generations.
