Every year after winter begins, yaks in the farming and pastoral areas of Burang County, Ngari of Tibet come to forage at the foot of Mount Gang Rinpoche and beside the holy Lake Manasarovar , presenting a beautiful scene of the "sky pasture". Here is the Manasarovar Wetland, a National Nature Reserve with abundant water and grass. The beautiful and clear lake water in Manasarovar mainly comes from the melting water of the snow-capped Kangdese Mountain.

“Every winter, yaks in the surrounding farming and pastoral areas are driven here to spend the winter. The yaks only drink 'holy water' here; they have a gourmet's luck,” a local herdsman recently told reporters.
