The second session of 12th Lhasa Committee of CPPCC opened

The second session of the 12th Lhasa Committee of the CPPCC (Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference), opened on January 11.

Nyima, chairman of the Lhasa Committee of the CPPCC, reported to the congress on behalf of the Standing Committee of the 12th Lhasa Committee of the CPPCC. The report shows that the committee members have conscientiously performed their duties and made suggestions from multiple perspectives.

In all the proposals, economic, cultural, social and ecological progress were involved. Of these, 13 were related to economic construction, accounting for 22%; 6 were related to cultural construction, accounting for 10%; 53 percent were related to social development, reached 32 and 9 were related to ecological progress, accounting for 15%.
