Tibet’s annual major political gatherings open
On January 19, the fourth session of the 11th Tibet Autonomous Region Committee of the CPPCC opened in Lhasa, capital of Tibet and will last until January 23. At the same time, the fourth session of the 11th regional People’s Congress of Tibet Autonomous Region will be held in Lhasa from January 20 to 24, according to official information.
According to reports, the “two sessions” will summarize the all-round and historic achievements Tibet has made during the 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-2020) period, mobilizing people of all ethnic groups in the region to forge ahead and have a good start for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025).
