Rural tourism contributes to rural revitalization in Tibet
Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, during the just-passed Dragon Boat Festival holiday, suburb tourism has become the first choice for most tourists in Tibet thanks to its good ecological environment, simple folk customs and special pastoral scenery.
In recent years, relying on rich ecological and cultural resources, stunning pastoral scenery, unique folk customs and characteristic architectural style of rural areas, Tibet has attached great importance to developing rural tourism. On the basis of the traditional rural leisure tour and agriculture experiencing tour, Tibet has developed emerging modes of tourism, such as vacation and recreation.
In 2020, in order to revitalize and boost tourism market in the midst of the epidemic, Lhasa, capital of Tibet Autonomous Region has launched its beautiful country tour in Dadong Village, known as one of the Beautiful Leisure Village in China, hoping to contribute to rural revitalization.
