Traditional ethnic equestrian competition event kicks off in Inner Mongolia
On the morning of July 12, the equestrian competition, a sport event of the 11th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the People’s Republic of China kicks off in advance in Hohhot, capital city of north China’s Inner Mongolia, with a total of 31 athletes including 11 performing ones from the Tibet team participated.

The National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of the People’s Republic of China is held every four years. The 11th games is going to be held in Zhengzhou City, central China’s Henan Province, and will last from September 8 to 16, 2019, of which the equestrian competition will be held in Inner Mongolia from July 12 to 17 with events including speeding races, horse riding, horseback riding and archery, and picking up a khata scarf while riding.
