The 11th Panchen Lama first came to a highland barley wine plant. He learned about many details in how the highland barley wine industry promotes targeted poverty alleviation, from the raw material base of highland barley to the sale of highland barley products, from product displays to assembly line production workshops.

The 11th Panchen Lama then visited a Tibetan incense producer Yogetsang, where the air was filled with the scent of incense and watched the product exhibition of Tibetan drinks. When he heard that many employees had stable incomes because of the industrial park’s flourishing development, and some families could rely in their wage incomes to get out of poverty, the 11th Panchen Lama smiled.
