Tibetan Culture Month comes to Nigeria

The "China Tibet: Tashi Delek" Tibetan Culture Month event was held in Nigeria in Africa recently, helping the people of Nigeria better understand Tibet's vigorous cultural development, according to the Culture Bureau of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region on August 13.

Norbu Tsering, director of Tibet Autonomous Region Culture Bureau's department of industry, said that the event displayed more than 50 kinds with over 100 pieces of original Tibetan culture products. Local visitors are also invited to try Tibetan calligraphy, Tibetan kite making, Tibetan weaving, Tibetan chess, and Tibetan woodcarving. At the same time, they are invited to taste butter tea, sweet tea, tsampa, and other Tibetan snacks.

The Tibetan Culture Month in Nigeria concluded on August 15. In addition, the first "China Tibet: Tashi Delek" culture products exhibition will be held in Lhasa from August 19 to 27.
