The epic live-action drama Princess Wencheng, which tells the love story between the Tang (618-907 AD) princess and the then Tibet King Songtsen Gampo, started its fifth season show Thursday  in Lhasa, capital city of southwest China's Tibet, as the region's tourism is booming from April.

The drama, with five acts in 90 minutes, combines drama, music, dance and modern stage art together, telling the Princess's experience of the making-peace marriage. In this season, the play would increase the lighting effects and improve the dance skills to make it more vivid.

Set in the scenery of Lhasa, the play was debuted in August, 2013 and has been performed 622 times to more than one million visitors from home and abroad in the last four seasons.
