Local farmers and nomads get benefits from poverty relief campaign

Currently, in response to the call for precision poverty alleviation campaign, Tibet Zejie Cultural and Creative Development Co., Ltd. has joined up with Nyingchi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security to carry out a poverty relief project of craftsmanship training, which helped the needy learn how to make hand painted Tibetan pig.

Later, the Tibet Zejie Cultural and Creative Development Co., Ltd. developed the hand painted Tibetan pig to touristy souvenir. Inviting thangka painter Penpa, the company combined the fine workmanship of the wood carved Tibetan pig with the splendid thangka painting skill to produce dozens of Tibetan pig souvenirs with distinctive patterns, which have been sold respectively at the "Creative Tibet" physical store and online store of Tibet Zejie Cultural and Creative Development Co., Ltd.

"We plan to help impoverished people master the basic painting skill, hoping more farmers and nomads in Nyingchi could participate in the painting project," said the director of the company, adding, "The poverty relief project will make a certain contributions to the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation and perceptibly raise the locals' incomes."
It's reported that Shuldoebpal Handicrafts Center also participated and promoted the poverty relief project. It specially invited two thangka painters to guide and teach 33 local farmers and nomads who participated in the 5 days painting training. "The training offers us materials, invites the good teachers to train us to paint, and provides opportunities for us to increase our income," said the locals who attended the training course.
Furthermore, the precise poverty alleviation project plans to produce 10 thousand hand paint Tibetan pigs from the end of this year to the end of next year and prepare to achieve 150 thousand yuan to carry out precise poverty alleviation, making real benefits for farmers and nomads.
