Tibetan Disabled Persons Care Center to open in October

on June 29th, the Tibet Autonomous Region Vice Head Dorje Tsedrup and his research organization arrived to the Lhasa City village of Degyi to inspect the conditions of the newly established Tibet Disabled Persons Care Center.

The Tibet Autonomous Region Disabled Persons Care Center is plotted on a 500 plus square meters of land and will have 100 beds. It will be equipped with a care service room, cafeteria, worker facilities and other things. It will go into operations this October.

The center will offer life care, rehabilitation, employment aid, farming therapy, cultural education, mental therapy and entertainment services for mentally ill individuals and to others with various degrees of disability.
