China’s first outdoor adventure IMAX movie to be released this summer
China’s first outdoor adventure IMAX movie recently finished filming in Tibet and is expected to be released nationwide this summer, Tibet Business News reported.
“Seventy-seven days” is based on a true story – Yang Liusong, a young lad from Shanghai, carries his tools on his bike with limited rations. He travels alone on foot for 77 days across the unpopulated region of Qiangtang in northern Tibet.
Rinchen Dolma from the production team said: “This is an inspirational story about exploring the limits of one’s inner self. The storyline will attract young audience and be China’s first real outdoor film.”
Apart from the thrilling plot, the film also has used the 3D technology to allow viewers to witness this desolate and mysterious place at the altitude of 5,000 meters. The towering snow-capped mountains, crystal clear water in lakes and variety of wild animals will produce a strong visual impact.
