Over 100 bln yuan in invest contracts signed at Tibet expo

The 3rd China Tibet International Culture and Tourism Expo drew to a close on Sept.16 in Lhasa. According to reports, 146 investment projects totaling 108.4 billion yuan were signed. Over 1000 products were displayed and generated nearly 50 million yuan revenue.

Champa Phuntsok, vice chairman of the standing committee of the National People's Congress, Pagbalha Geleg Namgyai, vice chairman of the CPPCC national committee, chairman of Tibet, Wangang, vice chairman of the CPPCC national committee, Minister of science and technology, and Redi, vice chairman of the standing committee of the tenth National People's Congress attended the expo.

A total of 1067 guests came to the expo, including politicians and officials, foreign diplomats, investors, travelling businessmen from 15 countries; 16 national ministries, delegations of 25 provinces and cities, domestic and international renowned experts and scholars;30 thousand people of different nationalities participated in the art performance;200 thousand guests and businessmen were involved in the exhibitions.

The expo also established 6 forums include themed forum, tourism, culture, Tibetan medicine, youth renovation entrepreneurship development and natural drinking water forums. 70 renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad conducted deep and wide exchanges focusing on the "Belt and Road" initiative and building the land road to South Asia.
