Clean drinking water is available for villagers in Gannan

People of the Tibetan ethnic group in rural areas in Gannan Tibet autonomous prefecture, Gansu province have access to clean drinking water due to a project launched in 2015.
The local government has put more than 500 million yuan ($76.5 million) into the drinking water project.
The government's efforts have paid off with around 747,800 Tibetan people in Gannan free of worrying about water quality and how to get drinking water.
According to the local government, the clean drinking water will improve the health of farmers and herdsmen in the Tibetan area and enhance productivity.
