A brief introduction of Chamdo Experimental Primary School

Founded in 1951, the Chamdo Experimental Primary School in Tibet Autonomous Region, is the first modern school in Tibet and the region’s starting point of modern education. Known as "the first cradle of talents on the snowy plateau", the school practices bilingual education in Chinese and Tibetan, and offers special courses for children such as art, music and folk dances.

In recent years, the school has developed by leaps and leaps. It has built new teaching buildings, dormitory buildings, renovated sports grounds, set up reading rooms, multimedia classrooms, computer classrooms, dance classrooms, music classrooms, special art classrooms and other functional classrooms, cultivating more and more outstanding talents for the snowy plateau.
