The China Children and Teenager's Fund gave 11,600 sets of studying and living goods worth 2.32 million yuan to nearly 10,000 children in 6 counties of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, NW China's Qinghai Province, Sept. 3, Xinhua reported.

Each kid received a sorting box with 18 kinds of studying and living goods including colored pens, magic cubes, and water bottles etc.

Rigzin Wangmo, a Tibetan girl who will enter 1st grade this year was eager to take out the magic cube to play in her hands. This is the first time she has known about the magic cube.

A primary school dean in Yushu City said that “The school supplies are very practical. The children like them all a lot.”

The “Hello children” loving package is a public project targeting children from impoverished families as well as leftover children.

The project has received a lot of support from many caring social circles who are willing to give more love to the children living in poor areas and are living in difficult situations.

Zhu Xisheng, secretary general of China Children and Teenager's Fund , said that it has been six years since the devastating Yushu earthquake. People from different social circles have been worrying about the life of the children living here. Nowadays, with the start of a new school year, we hope that the school and living supplies will bring to the children more happiness. At the same time, we also hope that there are persons from different social circles coming to care about the growth of those children living in impoverished and remote areas.
