Located in Gyirong Town, Xigaze, the Xizang Autonomous Region, China, Daman Village is close to the border between China and Nepal. As a cultural heritage, inscriptions on precipices here contain a lot of historical information. Among them, bas-reliefs on precipices of Risum Gongbu are undoubtedly the most famous, whose art style obviously has features of South Asia. The local government and cultural department established a protected zone to protect these precious cultural relics.
