Liangmei?Sherab Gyaltsen (1355~1415) was the founder of the Menri Monastery of Bon and one of the Five Great Masters of Bon. He was a famous master explaining the doctrine of Bon with a good reputation in history. The fifth day of the first month in the Tibetan calendar is the birthday of Master Liangmei. The Commemorative Dharma Assembly is held in all Bon monasteries on that day. On February 14, the Dharma Assembly was held in Samdrup Monastery in Ruoergai County, Sichuan Province to commemorate the birthday of Master Liangmei and pray for the prosperity and peace of the nation.
