Tibetan Carpet means a cushion on top. It is the most representative artisan craftsmanship in the handmade carpet weaving culture in China. There are many kinds of rugs with unique forms and bright colors. The soft and durable rug is made of good-quality wool, natural pigments, and yarn twisted by hand weaving. In 2006, the Tibetan carpet weaving technique was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.
The patterns of the rug have many dragon elements. On some rugs, a dragon opens its mouth as if it is making wind and rain; on some rugs, two dragons step on the clouds with their claws and keep their heads up; on some rugs, a dragon flies high in the sky. They are exquisite, good-looking, and interesting.
