Tibet's orchestra appears at the Fourth Western China Symphony Week

On September 12, the Tibet Philharmonic Orchestra traveled to Hohhot in north China's Inner Mongolia to take part in the Fourth Western China Symphony Week.

The Tibet Philharmonic Orchestra will play at a special concert on the evening of the 16th and the famous Tibetan conductor Mr. Benpa will conduct throughout. In the first half they will play Tibetan composer's works and in the second half they will play  world famous symphonies, including Tchaikovsky's  Symphony NO. 6 "Pathetique".

The Fourth Western China Symphony Week will take place from September 12 to 22 in Hohhot, Erdos, Baotou of Inner Mongolia.

The symphony week brings together 13 symphony orchestras from 11 western China's provinces and cities including Inner Mongolia's National Art Theater Symphony Orchestra, Tibet's Philharmonic Orchestra, Gansu's Symphony Orchestra and others, with over 1000 artists participating.
